PRIME Minister P J Patterson yesterday asked Nation of Islam Leader Louis Farrakhan to 'preach' a message of positive values and attitudes when he speaks at various functions during his five-day stay here.
Patterson, who spoke with Farrakhan, who paid him a courtesy call at Jamaica House yesterday, said his central concern was to get the Jamaican people to accept positive values and healthy attitudes and to develop a sense of respect for each other.
"I wish that could be your message to those you have the capacity to influence. It would be a most welcome contribution to the Jamaican people," Patterson told Farrakhan.
The Nation of Islam leader will speak at a dinner tonight and a rally at the National Arena Sunday
