PNP Policy Review Forum:

ransforming Jamaica’s Economy to Meet Global Opportunities and Challenges

As part of the PNP’s agenda to transform itself in the face of global changes, the PNP Policy Review Commission will be organizing a forum under the theme: "Transforming Jamaica’s Economy to Meet Global Opportunities and Challenges", at the PCJ Auditorium, 36 Trafalgar Road, Kingston, on Saturday, August 14, 2004, from 8:30am to 1:30pm.

The PNP Policy Review Commission has recently prepared a discussion paper entitled "Trade Dimensions of Globalisation and its Implications for Economic Transformation" that will be presented and discussed by the following panelists:

The Forum will also explore a range of strategies by the private and public sectors in seeking to transform local businesses to meet the global challenges and opportunities. The following presentations will be made:
