PMs get Order of the Nation tomorrow

The award of the Order of the Nation will be conferred on Prime Minister P J Patterson and all past prime ministers at a public function to be held at King's House tomorrow at 10:00 am.

In addition to Patterson, Opposition Leader Edward Seaga and Hugh Shearer will be conferred with the insignia.
Representatives of former prime ministers Michael Manley and Donald Sangster will receive the instrument of appointment on behalf of these individuals who are being awarded posthumously.

The award will not be conferred on National Hero Sir Alexander Bustamante, as he is a member of the Order of National Hero, the highest order that can be awarded in Jamaica.
