O.T. Williams knows that his job of developing the constituency of Western St. Andrew is far from over. By putting himself forward for a fourth consecutive term, this veteran politician intends to carry out the wishes of a people whom he has given his services to over the years. 

Mr. Williams, a businessman and career politician, has a distinguished professional and political career. Apart from being Member of Parliament for West St. Andrew since 1989, Mr. Williams served as Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives. 

He has a prestigious record of constituency achievements, which includes the construction of the Seaview Primary, the building of a Type Three health clinic, expansion of telephone services, the construction of housing solutions at Riverton Meadows and Callaloo Mews, and the erection of a new police station in the constituency. 

Born on January 27, 1938, in Grange Hill, Westmoreland, Mr. Williams is married with three children. He enjoys reading, watching football, gymnastics, jogging, jazz, classical music and dancing. He studied at Mannings High, Riyerson Polytechnic University, and the University of Waterloo.
