Another PNP Battle Looms

The Jamaica Gleaner,  Thursday  February 10, 2005

MINISTER OF Commerce, Science and Technology, Phillip Paulwell, will be challenging Education Minister Maxine Henry-Wilson this Sunday in Montego Bay for the post of deputy chairman of the People's National Party (PNP), party sources told The Gleaner last night.

The surprise challenge comes only a week after the failed bid by former region three chairman Paul Burke to unseat one of the four incumbent vice-presidents at the PNP's annual conference at the Mico Teachers' College, and will be done at the party's National Executive Council meeting its first for the year.
